ComfortClick launches Colibri – the first Z-Wave Hub for professional projects

ComfortClick has launched what it’s billing as the first Z-Wave hub intended for both commercial and residential projects. Colibri enables system integrators and DIYers to integrate Z-Wave with other industry standards.

Currently, Z-Wave is still predominately used only in residential projects. As smart home goes mainstream, the demand for mesh wireless systems is increasing also for commercial projects such as hotels, schools, and hospitals. The software running on the majority of Z-Wave central controlling units is not intended for use in commercial projects. ComfortClick plans to fill in this the gap with its Colibri hub.

Colibri promises support for Z-Wave, Modbus, BACnet, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Sonos, Samsung smart TV, LG smart TV, Philips Hue, IP cameras, DSC, Paradox, Satel, Kodi, global Caché, IRTrans, TCP/IP devices, Fronius and foobot.

Colibri users can design custom user interface including actual building layouts, room photos, custom icons, colours, etc., advanced automation with different automation tasks, logical operations, schedules, scenes, and data logging.
